I am building a barter site it should be up in a month from now I hope. I am a web designer myself, and currently doign all the preliminary work.
I did check out barterquest.com
But as I find problems with many barter sites, I found problems with it also.
1. They charge money for a full registration
2. They have lots of ads and gimmicks
3. Their section headings seem limited.
My site wont have any ads, it wont cost money to barter. It will be basically like a craigslist but look a little nicer. But not much. The goal of the site is to help facilitate barters, not much more that, but I will also have some links to other barter sites and a few articles.
